Arrest In Cottage / House Break-Ins

Three police services worked closely together to arrest a Scugog man wanted for breaking into houses and cottages from Orono and Lindsay to north Peterborough County. An estimated 11 residences were broken into and a variety of goods stolen, including cash, fishing rods, tackle boxes, televisions, jewelry and liquor.
31 year old Robert Rushnell was arrested in Oshawa near a King Street residence.
Rushnell faces numerous charges of Break, Enter and Theft, possession under $5,000, Dangerous Driving, Flight from Police and Fail to Remain.
